The Brief

To develop marketing and launch strategies for a new retail magazine.


Produced launch plan, which included distribution, promotional plans, market analysis and PR activities for the magazine. Instigated promotional campaigns with daily regional newspapers, wrote articles, worked in conjunction with Comag.

  • Gained £15,000 worth of prizes donated by key Spas and Erna Low.
  • Achieved £40,000 of free advertising space, from PR and promotional activities.
  • Produced key launches in six of the flagship WHSmith shops including Blue Water.
  • Ran competitions in 10 key regional newspapers.

Launched in February 2003, a retail magazine designed and produced by Editorial Design Concepts.
